Thanks for your criticisms. I was trying to make this design as compact as possible in order to fit into a number of ships I have in the works (Hyperion or Nova anyone?). I had to sacrifice the tilt of the wings as you say, however this allows the Starfury to dock quite nicely in a hangar bay, as you can see in one of the images. I also contemplated using hydrogen, however to be effective that would take up too much space. I appreciate your input however, and will consider it in the future. Its good to see another B5 fan around!

check those, get inspiration... At least do it with rotors to gat the X shape :-) Waiting for version 2 ;-)
