Pilot Rescue (COOP 03)

Description
A pilot is being held in a building inside the city of Kavala. He is unarmed and is being guarded by enemy soldiers. If he attempts to escape he will be gunned down quickly by the guards. The sniper squad should aid the pilot in escaping from captivity by eliminating key targets as well as providing tactical support. When the pilot has escaped the city, all units should rendezvous at the extraction boat to escape the island.

Notes:
A human player is required in the "Pilot" slot
The mission can be completed with 2 players, one "Pilot" and one "Sniper"

Fun mission, would be great if once you meet with your teammates, you have to "hold down the fort" waiting for a helicopter or something.

once we killed the main crew and hid from the hunter, we just ran to the boat super slow motion. not as cool as the START of the mission.

I think if you try it you will see why I require a human player as hostage. I don't want to give too much away, but with a smart sniper team, the hostage will be doing a lot more than just waiting for the others to come get him. Also, communication between the hostage and sniper team is critical, moreso than an AI could handle. In my playtests, hostage was my favorite position.

If you don't want to play this one, I have a few other co-op missions for 3-4 players that can use AI if you and your buddies want to try them. Good Luck! :)

COULD have been awesome, but you should really just have the option of AI as the pilot. I've played a bunch of coop missions where I rescue AI and then they grab a gun and help out, this would totally work.

i dont want one of my buddies to be stuck as a hostage.

Good mission but I thought it was quite quiet though. I would like to see a few more patrols especially along the coastline. I found that once I reached the beach, I could pretty much sprint all the way to the boat.

Top marks for this one, played this one with two friends, taking turns on the pilot & sniper slots, each player fulfilling their roles to the tee. Yes we completed it. Well done to Zero-Fill.

Great mission. Sets up awesome moments. I was the pilot, spotter moved in to extract me. Moving down to extraction, spotter is shot I run to building, finally sniper arrives to help with only a pistol, almost to extaction and THEN A FUCKING STRIDER mows us down. Awesome mission tho
