I've been working on a couple of new mods that will allow me to place water and thermal vents where i want. But it's not working as intended at the moment.

I suffer OCD when building bases, so the random placement of water and thermal vents messes with my head.
My water pump mod allows you to place water pumps on dirt and my enhanced generator mod allows you to place the a power station on a utility floor. (that uses coal)

The dev has made some changes to the game which seem to block me from placing the new water trap on dirt. Same goes for the original geothermal generator.

why would you want to mine a thermal vent tile?
