Walking Dead: Season Two Overhaul
28 items
Description
*Requires a game restart after enabling/disabling in Addons Menu*

Rebalances the volume of different sound categories in game, to better accomodate custom sound mods.

This mod is for you if you find your guns are too loud or you can't hear your custom voice or music mods properly. Compatible with any custom mod as it doesn't change the audio files themselves.

What this Mod does:

-Raises Survivor voice line volume

-Raises Music volume

-Lowers Gun volume

-Lowers Helicopter and plane volume

-Slightly lowers infected volume

Is there ANY gun volume mod that lets me configure it???
All the ones I find go way too far in lowering its volume and for this one I don't want to change the helicopter or loud events

This would be nice if the sounds were separated into packs. I have music for the Witch and Tank but the tags aren't there for those so I assume it doesn't change those, I already got silenced weapon mods and what kind of infected sounds we talking? I'm fine with louder Specials but the commons are just a bit too loud.

please make a Audio Settings mod so we can adjust the volume ourselves if possible

This would have incredible utility if it had a config. Do you think you'll add one in the future (is it even possible?)

So far, I am loving this! The infected are still a bit loud for me, but all in all, it's great! It has saved my poor ears from the constant onslaught of extremely loud volume!

@AOCfeetpicsplease Nah, it sounds like you are doing it right. Make sure to give it a sec when you open the game to let all your mods load in the menu, but you are probably doing that too. I kept the changes fairly subtle, so it might be working but its hard to tell. You could load up the concert mission and see if the helicopter at the end kills your eardrums still - that'd be the most obvious way I can think of to check if its working. Hope you are able to get the audio just the way you like :)

I'm not sure why but it doesn't seem to work for me. I have been completely restarting my game between enabling it and disabling it but there is no difference in the audio at all. Am I doing something wrong?
