Hello, engineers! Welcome to the MiniMap mod, which adds a HUD RADAR display to the game, with the ability to instead view it on any LCD! In addition, it features a full-scale Universe Map! See below for details, and enjoy :)

  • Enable placement of Universe Map on an LCD

  • Other suggestions welcome :)

How does it work?
In order to keep things simple and only need to update everything in one location, please refer to the guide for information on how everything works :)

A big thanks goes out to Draygo for the awesome Text HUD API that made this possible and Enenra for allowing me to use their icons for the Nav map, as well as Digi, DarkStar, Thraxus, and the rest of the crew in the modding channel for helping me put together my first mod!

Since the latest update this mod has been crashing my game every 10 min or so. I worked it out by removing mods 1 at a time. If it still crashed put it back and and remove the next until it stopped crashing.
I love this mod and don't really want to stop using it. Any chance of an update?
I normally just have the minimap (radar) in the corner of the screen.

Anyway to put at least local part of Universe Map onto a normal dimensions (square) LCD type? It's hard to find any mods using wide screens for that, especially on cockpits etc.

So, after the Fieldwork update the game crashes if you open the main map, the mini map seems to be ok.

Sorry, forgot to re-message after asking that question.

I asked it and after not getting a quick enough response I added it to my world anyway and it worked flawlessly with a bunch of mods.

It's a great mod! :steamthumbsup:
