Oettinocittone - Bare Bones Map

Description
Background

This is the start of a project I'm working on, Oettinocittone. Translated as "North Oettir City", it's a steampunk/sci-fi city I'm building in a fantasy world that I'm building in the background. I'll have more details later, but the main continent is based off of Antarctica without its ice sheets. Oettinocittone (OeNCT for short) is the capital and largest city of Oettir - right around where Oates Land is in our Antarctica.

What is this?

As you can clearly see, this map doesn't really pass for done. This is the initial pass - the basic terrain is there, as well as the necessary connections to get started. There are no trees or decorations of any sort. The idea is if you want a starting point for your own map or city, this map gives you the basics to work from. You get to put whatever types of trees you prefer (there are so many to choose from!), decorate it as you want, and even rebuild the freeways to your own specifications. I'm still working on a proper version of the map with better developed roads and decor, but here's something to mess with if you want.

I am creating a Steampunk District Style and Collection right now!

@Sasquatch - No unfortunately, I've mainly been hacking together industrial and medieval stuff, kind of straying away from the original steampunk theme. Using move-it to clip stuff together seems to be the way to go.

Do you have any steampunk assets for the build? I'm looking for some and I'm surprised to see nothing on the workshop.

I also like that you shared a blank map. I rarely end up using the roads the map came with.

@Chappington, completely agree. I love using the Move It! mod. You can dynamically select all roads/rail and just delete. :)

@Zyfix Thanks!

@kjblank Right? So many times I'll take a map that's been beautifully detailed, and then pull out the bulldozer to get rid of everything so I can build what I want.

I wish more maps were this way. Just give me a terrain.
