Avelon's Take Everything Hotkey

Beskrivning
This mod is required by both server and client for multiplayer.

1.3.3 update: Fixed the tech this mod adds. It actually now does give you a speed boost.

v1.3 MAJOR UPDATE! Code improvements and removal of the unintended feature of pre-looting!
Added support for Arcana, Betabound, Project Redemption and Kitsune Race Mod!
Added support for all liquid storage containers from Enhanced Storage!
Added explicit support for Improved Containers!

Planned 1.4 update: Make this work with just plain vanilla. But for now you can use Improved Containers OR Enhanced Storage, whichever you prefer. :)

---

If you are too lazy to move your mouse to the Take All button like I am, I made this mod for you.

Just assign a key from the bottom of your controls config window and you are good to go.

This works by tying the action to the body tech slot, so new characters are granted a low speed running tech called 'Doubletime' upon waking up in their ship. To use, just open up a container and press your Take All key to automatically loot it and close the window.

Compatibility:

It is only PARTIALLY COMPATIBLE with RPG Growth. It won't break your game but RPG Growth's body slot techs are not included as RPGG makes use of this hotkey in some of its techs. If you are using a BODY SLOT tech that is NOT from RPG Growth your take all hotkey WILL WORK.

reading this makes me rage, not gonna lie. Chuckle fish is an embarrassement of a company when they place all their eggs in one basket and not even with the help of their own modding comunity, they manage to give us a take all button in a way that is "decent enough" to be considered to get accepted into my game.

like ignoring a tech place for having the button?
that is the best anyone could come up with in a game released 2016?

if we hide chuckle fish and pretend the product as a bethesda game, this would look different.

kind of a bummer, as the head tech has a rebind to change it from tech button + down to just tech button, which would activate each time you tried to do the vanilla body tech for dash
Material Defender 17 sep, 2024 @ 13:55
The Base Tech Rebalance linked when you use the rebind key for the body tech, to change it from action button + direction to double tap the button breaks (changing it back unbreaks this mod)

Turns out it wasnt the extra pair of arms mod I linked, it was the rebind buttons added by Base Tech Rebalance that breaks this mod
Material Defender 15 sep, 2024 @ 9:21
found it, it's AEPOA An Extra Pair Of Arms which uses techs to grant the player extra arms for weapons or other use
Material Defender 15 sep, 2024 @ 7:02
So I was wrong, it's not likely to be Mech Overhaul. I forgot i have another mod that adds some sort of added arms as a tech, and it uses 2 custom shortcuts to swap the arm parts. I can't seem to find the mod.
Material Defender 14 sep, 2024 @ 19:25
Somehow, I think this is incompatible with Mech Overhaul

I haven't fully tested though, but this mod stopped working when I did the mech tutorial mission on a new character.

Oh, so that's why it broke. "It is only PARTIALLY COMPATIBLE with RPG Growth. It won't break your game but RPG Growth's body slot techs are not included as RPGG makes use of this hotkey in some of its techs. If you are using a BODY SLOT tech that is NOT from RPG Growth your take all hotkey WILL WORK."
