NS1 Knife World Model

World Model for the remodelled and reanimated knife based on the design of the original Natural Selection 1 Knife. Reskinned masterfully with two alternate blade skin options by EZJamin!

To use the alternate skin, because steamworkshop hasn't allowed for more control of the mods yet, you must follow this process:



1) Locate your steam workshop folder, it should resemble this directory structure:

C:\Users\Daniel\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\Workshop\

2) Locate the knife mod itself, it should be in a directly like so:

C:\Users\Daniel\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\Workshop\m712065f_1357519579\models\marine\axe

3) Locate the "knife_view.material" and the "knife_view_alt.material" files



4) Simply rename the "knife_view.material" to be something else, and rename "knife_view_alt.material" to be "knife_view.material" and voila! Now when you load up the game it should be using the other skin.



5) Hope that someone introduces some kind of mod customization options for NS2 or the steam workshop in general!

*At this time there are still some issues with consistency checks. I'm doing what I can to try and help alleviate some of these issues, but it isn't an issue with the model itself, it's with the consistency checking system. The knife will only work properly in online matches that properly white-list or allow custom models! This is a pain in my ass more than yours, trust me.
