CH-31 Dragonfly / Cargo Hauler

Description
The CH ship series started all the way back on Earth, when we still designed cargo hauling ships to sail through the ocean. As time went on, cargo hauling became even more important, and in the space faring era, that just made it more evident.

The older model in the series still in wide use by trading companies and independent cargo haulers around the universe is definetly, the Dragonfly series. Introduced as a cheap and capable option, the CH-31 is fast & reliable, counting on both ion engines, and hydrogen fueled thrusters for cargo hauling around the galaxy. Not for orbital use however, as the hydrogen thrusters are to be used as 'boosters', a modification engineers made to compensate for the lack of horizontal and vertical maneuverability of the ship. It is agile, and it can be pretty fast, in the hands of capable commanders.

The Dragonfly has little defense, with a few gatling guns place around it, and it's armor is very light, it is definetly, not a combat vessel, and we do not recommend for this use.

It was standard to built it with at least 2 cryo chambers in the infirmary bay, though most users would add a third one on the available space, 2 small internal containers for tools and utilities, the airlocks are operated through the airlock corridor button panels. It has no reactor, using batteries to fulfil it's duties, and solar panels on it's extensions, as well as oxygen generating farms.

Old, rugged, reliable and practical, the Dragonfly is a cheap alternative for commanders who are hunting for a smart and fast solution.

PS: The model is no longer in production, support is limited.
