T3 Tylium Tritium Titanium

Description
This is the final production of my Tylium & Tritium mod ( now retired ).
This is a coherent whole of mods, each being part of a bigger idea.

-Greyson XMG

Fun and tough, it adds a new level of tech that can only be accessed with new materials that can only be harvested on one of the ugliest planets I have found on the workshop. Want the new stuff? Get digging.

All models were created by tugspacehall unless otherwise noted.

What's new:

Tylium. I high density liquid fuel used in high power thrusters!

Tritium. A Helium isotope (H3). used exclusively in Fusion Reactors.

Titanium. A high strength metal found on only one planet. Dr. Octogonopus's RAVCOR. This planet was selected because it is the most unpleasant planet I could think of. I added spiders. All the new blocks require Titanium to one degree or another. Titanium is refined in normal refineries, but can be slow to produce.

New components: Reinforced Plate and Reinforced Mesh.

Tylium Refinery. A Hot Tylium Refinery. Large and imposing, It is for taking raw Tylium ore and turning it into liquid Tylium Fuel. Operates slow due to the volatility of the fuel, but is worth it.

Tylium tanks. Small block version donated by Spacebar. Long and slim. Large version is big, fat, and high capacity.

Tylium Thrusters Models donated by Shaostoul. More powerful than similarly sized vanilla hydrogen thrusters.

Reaction Control. Donated by SEModder4. These tylium thrusters are low powered, but are excellent at providing braking force.

HoverPad. Script donated by Takeshi and modified with his assistance. Small block only, and not quite a landspeeder, but this pad will hover, but not at a great height. Visually they have a Matrix look. Good for rocky ground, but not suggested for mountains. Tunnel run at your own risk!

HoverGear. Allows a hovercraft to 'lock' without actually putting skids down'. Also useful in locking down wheeled vehicles. Sometimes called a ‘Projected Lock’.

OxygenGenerator Advanced. For use on Tritium tainted ice to make Tritium Gas. Oxygen and Hydrogen are by-products.

Tritium tanks. These are small because Tritium gas is VERY powerful.

Fusion Reactors: Donated by SEModder4. Azimuth Fusion turned into real fusion. Burns Tritium. Very powerful. Emissives stuck at white until I can figure out how to fix it.

Capacitor: Donated by SEModder4. Azimuth Battery remade to a Capacitor. Can dish out high power, but not for long.

Ablative Armor. Sometimes called 'flawed armor'. This is armor plate that is mounted on the exterior of a ship. It can take a brutal pounding, but can be expensive to make in large quantities. When plates are placed next to each other, there are gaps between them. This helps prevent concussion waves from traveling along the hull of a ship, BUT leaves small gaps that can be sniped.

There will be tweaking of various settings to come.

Please make note of any errors, glitches, and suggestions in the comments.

Hello.
I would like to report the following error. I don't know if it is triggered by my game or your mod. he gives it for information.

Too True.
Keep in mind, I have lost faith in KEEN, and have stopped playing SE, and have stopped modding.
SE has such potential. But I see no real advancement.

I was looking for a mod that added tritanium, but this actually looks pretty dang good as well! Although, it *would* be cool to see tritanium added as a special alloy/material at some point, as something that's more lightweight and durable at the cost of being more difficult to produce.

Hey, I really like this mod after playing with it for a while, but I do have a suggestion. Do you think you could add an LCD panel script or something of the sort (if that's even possible) in the style of the Power and H2 script to keep track of your ship's tylium and/or tritium levels? I'm just a bit paranoid about suddenly running out of either while out doing things.

Hey man, downloaded this mod a little while and have yet to play with it yet. But i was wondering it replaces the small grid hydrogen tank with a Trytium tank? Is there a way around that to fix it, maybe a button to convert it to either or? Thanks for the mod!

Will this add Titanium to an existing Ravcor planet in an existing world? Or do I need to spawn in the one from this mod? Since you mentioned that this contains the files for the planet and it's not listed as a dependency I was wondering about the compatibility.

So the ablative armor especially the sloped one sometimes fly off the ship of just explode into nothingness (disintegrate) whenever I remove a block.

T3 Tag..... Hmm... Good idea.
CodeRed_Sama 10 Mar, 2020 @ 11:43pm
Hmm. I do have a custom planet which I have added Titanium to. It doesn't come with any stations. Atleast the player made stores can sell Titanium which is just what I needed.

Btw would it be possible to categorize all the blocks into a separate category and add a T3 tag to them?

Ah, that is unclear from the description above.
