Description

Please do not reupload this without my Permission.

This aircraft features a HFC, or High Fidelity Cockpit, which is a cockpit setup that tries to imitate the real life counterpart cockpit you'll find in most from 2C to 4E class aircraft. It does not simulate every single aspect of the real life counterpart, but as a standard for Stormworks it holds up.

You enter the aircraft behind the front wheelwell

This is the J-742-P "Viking" passenger aircraft. It is a whole new class of aircraft that ive been working for some time, and its a completely new field for me since i mostly do cargo aircraft, which got a specific purpose in Stormworks. However with that said, this has been my most challenging project so far to work on, and never has a game drained me as much mentally as Stormworks has while working on this project. I really hope you like how it turned out.

The 742-Viking has a wide body, new and improved engine system control, nifty user control outputs and a fully fitted Flight Engineer control panel, radio communication and aircraft wide PA system, and a whole bunch of seats for any possible NPC's. The cabin area has been fully fitted with all the lights and markings above the seats, aswell as independent seat illumination control if that fancy your pickle.

As an ending note, i want to thank the ever unending dedication to the developers of Stormworks for giving us regular updates nearly every week, and the recent performance update which made this creation possible, and with any luck and more dedication, more to come.

If you have any questions about the Viking, @ me on the Stormworks Discord, @Tesla#6343, or comment below.

Cheers

Honestly i cant tell you. Its been years since i ventured in to that spiderweb of nodes and i simply do not have that information retained in my head.

By chance can you explain the conditions that need to be met for a Hydraulic failure specifically the APU?
Tesla  [author] 23 Sep, 2022 @ 2:48am
Trust me i have no plans on troubleshooting this. Its very outdated and not really worth the effort. I'd rather recommend the 280 if you want a better experience!

Can't figure out why everything is broken, something interesting I just found out is APU you can attempt to start with infinite Electricity and infinite Fuel I think it could be a problem with fuel or electricity, How ever I said attempt to start the APU does not start it's RPS just goes back down after you attempt to start it so I think it's a problem with air or something, Turbine 1 and 2 still do not start you can't even start it with infinite fuel and electricity. I am pretty sure the next place to go for troubleshooting may be the micro controllers, After checking the micro controllers I would suggest checking how it's wired you know logic, Composite and then where ever you want to go with trouble shooting.

This is most likely true.
This aircraft was made way before the new slanted blocks and is why it looks so blocky.

I do not troubleshoot this because i know for a fact what nightmare it was to create it.

Well this is quite the nightmare to troubleshoot I tried and my only guess for why hydralic systems are all getting failures is it broke with a update
Mixarar 11 Feb, 2022 @ 7:30am
Yeah everything with engines is broken
NavalExpert 11 Jun, 2021 @ 4:37pm
I cant seem to get the APU Fired up. Still get a Hydraulic Failure each time.

Can you replace the fluid ports with fluid anchors?
