At the moment is this one: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2793070379&searchtext=PD+HUD

Yeah, as I said that one doesn't work, I'll try to take a better look at this when I have more free time, see if I manage to make this somehow compatible with custom HUDs.
Thanks again for your attention and help m8, wish you the best :steamhappy: and thanks again for all of your incredible works!

This mod only uses 3 files. The crosshair vtf and vmt, and the hud layout file.
if you overwrite any of these files with files from this payday hud it will very likely stop working entirely.

I don't know what hud you're using, so I can't help with editing the command lines in the hud_layout.res, I would suggest copying all of this mod's files into the payday folder to overwrite.

Though, I assume the payday hud uses a custom layout, so I doubt the results will be satisfactory.

Thanks a bunch for replying mate, love your work!
So yeah, that's why I asked, I tried opening both .res and none look like the other(the Payday 2 HUD that I use and yours), I tried copying the command lines(?)from one to the other and itdidn't worked, when I tried just meshing up both frolders it also didn't worked, I ended up with no custom HUD and no noise in the screen :(

I don't wanna bother you too much with this but could you say exaclty what I need to do?I already tried this so far:

Opening both VPKs and:

1)Puting all folders one over the other;
2)Puting just the materials/resources folders both from the HUD into yours and vice-versa and editing the .res
a)Adding your command line into the HUD's res and vice versa
3)Transferred only the materials and resources folders from one to the other

None worked :(

You can either leave hud_layout.res alone, or include the settings I have in this. And the crosshair is also modified so better not to touch it.

Basically, I used hud_layout.res to make the crosshair full screen I think? That's how I have the animated noise texture on screen.

Can you make these compatible with HUDs?
I tried to edit the files themselves but I don't seem to get it right, to mix a hud mod with this...Can you give me a hint at least what is the file I should leave when I add the hud?

I saw people complaining about not being able to use custom crosshairs on retrowave hud. That is the cause of the conflict, as this mod works by replacing the crosshair

well shit i thought this would work with retrowave hud but it clashes
