Balanced Food (+Hauling - see Note #3)

Humans eat roughly 4 pounds of food per day.
Pawns eat roughly 2 meals per day.
Therefore each simple meal should use roughly 2 pounds of food to be created.

I have edited the meals from vanilla to try and be more realistic with respect to the amount of food that is used to create each recipe.

I have also edited the body size of every animal/creature/human to try to properly reflect the amount of meat that would be received in optimum butchering conditions.

NOTES:
1. Due to sizing restrictions, rats, chin-chillas, and squirrels will provide more meat than they should.

2. Weight of individual pieces of meat is hardcoded at 0.03 KG a piece which would mean 1 KG of meat should technically equal a stack of 30.33 pieces. Obviously this can't happen because if I was to compensate accordingly then colonies would quickly run out of storage space after butchering larger animals. As such, the weight of meat and subsequent stacks will make little sense.

(Example: An average cow weighs 455 KG and yields roughly 200 KG of meat after butchering. If each piece of meat weights 0.03 KG, then each cow would yield 6066 pieces of meat.)

3. Due to the resizing of some animals I have made the decision to alter the hauling requirements for all animals. If the animal in question has a trainability of advanced it can now be trained to haul, regardless of how small it is. It might not haul much but it can haul.

Monkeys and cats moving hats?!? WTF!?!

@NinjaBeest Only if you haven't updated the game since 1.3

Does this mod still work?

Using in 1.4 causes worldgen issues for some reason, most likely a mod conflict, but no factions will spawn.

Sounds great! This is something I've been looking for!
Here's hoping this gets a 1.4 update. :fingers-crossed:

It works on 1.4, just not compatible with biotech. Causes the feeding tab on babies to disappear, and you'll get errors with pawns that're children. Babies and adults are fine though.

Wondering if this still works for the new update! Thanks again for the mod!

Thanks for the idea, but I'd really love to have my pc's synchronize with steam.
Would it be possible for you to make separate "patches" which would add support for your main mod - for the two mods I mentioned? :steamhappy:

@RighTy🏠Can you please shoot me an email geoppetto.hosseltoff @ outlook.com
I can mod these two for you but wouldn't want to make the changes public as I wouldn't want to repost the original mod's xml files. I could email you the changes and let you know how to manually apply them to your RimWorld mod directory. Cheers!

Hi @Geoppetto Hosseltoff
The one I'm using is Master of cooking:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=830545304&searchtext=master+of+cooking

Also Cosmic Horrors VGP Meal Patch
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1565686128&searchtext=Cosmic+horrors

Any ideas if it's possible to add some compatibility with these?

Hey @RighTy🏠 I've created personal mods for all kinds of other food-related mods. If you have any in particular that are giving you a head-ache let me know, thanks.
