After the End Fan Fork - Pirate Republic

This mod is for the current version of the After the End Fan Fork mod, v1.0.


The very first thing I did when I first played After the End was play as the brethren.
I was quite surprised to find out, after a bit of looking, that while there were pirate kings, there were no pirate republics.

Now that I know how to learn how to make mods, I decided I wanted a pirate republic.

Let me tell you, there needs to be way more tutorials on making merchant republics, because it's not described anywhere that I could find.


Anyway, the only thing this mod does is add a small ducal tier brethren merchant republic to the island of Cozumel, off of southern Mexico, as well as a few patrician families to choose from.

The only ATEFF-vanilla file affected by this mod is 1811 - Cozumel.txt in history/provinces, so it should be compatible with any mod.

Do you know if v1.0 of ATEFF is still available? This mod is not compatible anymore, Cozumel is a county and there is no valid option to create said pirate merchant republic, it's already owned by some mexican, and he is not brethren.

Hmm, I Made A Suggestion For The Mod To Have A Pirate Republic, Either With Unique Government Or Merchant Republic, Either As A Formable Titular Kingdom If You're A Pirate Who Controls The Bahamas And Enough Land, Or As An Event Chain, Maybe Some Guy Claims To Be The Reincarnation Of Blackbeard Or Something And Starts Attacking Whoever Controls The Bahamas, And If He Wins He Forms The Republic Of Pirates, A Titular Kingdom.
