I'm having trouble figuring out how to actually get the time piece once you have 250 candy. is there an npc or an object to interact with to remove the barrier?

I came here to say that it's a nice reskin but 400 candy is a bit much since it requires to blindly explore most of what you already explored in chapter 1 and it dilutes the actually unique stuff.

Reading the other comments apparently there is way more to this map I missed, kinda sad :/

Really cool map tho, had fun.

It is very nice to know that I've been able to create experiences that have stuck with others. Sometimes, game development can feel very challenging and lonely, and it's easy to forget that the end result impacts others in meaningful ways. So this is really nice to hear. I have most definitely commented on this level before, years ago.


Returned recently and thought id play some more Hat in Time, and found I was still subscribed. Played it and honestly had just as much fun as the first time. I literally still have memories on this map, I thought I would return, years later and say that this map genuinely has stuck with me over time and that even now I think back on it really fondly. It sounds oddly parasocial to say but thank you for making my life better with your work.

This was so creative! There was so much to do, and I loved all the side things you could do to get more candy! The haunted mansion GENUINELY scared me, it was terrifying! I can NOT praise this mod enough. The effort put into it is amazing! And the conductor getting drunk was HILARIOUS. There is so much atmosphere around this entire level, from the music to the decorations. Each character's dialogue is true to themselves. (And the idea that Snatcher just wants a candy throne is chef's kiss.) PHENOMENAL JOB TO EVERYONE WHO WORKED ON THIS! YOU GUYS ARE AN INSPIRATION!!!
