Heavy Hydrogen Mule + Improved Station Miner

Description
New from Owens Mining Industries is our new, and improved Station Miner and the new, Heavy Hydrogen Mule

The new and improved Station Miner has more thrust to go with it's already nimble agility. A new boring pattern has been adopted that is more in line with the BM-1 to punch dead square holes in any asteroid. A new layout on the control panel groups braking/backwards thrusters separately for easy cruising around work sites. Better cockpit integration moves formerly separate displays closer to an operator. (The top window mounted PAM panel has been retained at user request, though.) As usual, some recommended scripts are advised, linked below.

But the Star of this combo is the Heavy Hydrogen Mule. Designed from the outset for planetary dispatch and recovery, the HHM uses efficient, Hydrogen thrusters and ample fuel tankage to carry it into orbit and back again with a full load of cargo in it's two, large cargo containers. Landings with an all up loaded weight in excess of 350,000 Kg are routine for the average pilot. Launches can reach 100m/s in under 30 seconds with a total of 50,000Kg of Ice on board with ample fuel and ice left over. Now, planet based operators can enjoy the benefits of the space-only Station Miner without the added expense and complexity of a space based operation

Typical Operation would be to fly to orbit, and locate a likely work site. Park the Heavy Hydrogen Mule in a good spot and detach the Station Miner for mining and/or prospecting. Controls for both vehicles are grouped on separate bars for easy operation. The Heavy Hydrogen Mule has ample thrust for maneuvering in space, even fully loaded.

Station Minor Stats:

One medium cargo container
One Large Battery
Two, Small Reactors (Optional)
One O2/H2 Converter for pilot comfort
Four Drill Heads
Standard Lighting
Remote Control and Sensor (For PAM Operation)
One NavBall Camera (Optional)
One Aft Mounted Docking Camera
Antenna
Three Programmable Blocks

Heavy Hydrogen Mule Stats:

TWO Large Cargo Containers
Two Hydrogen Tanks
Four O2/H2 Converters
Four Small Reactors
Two Large Batteries
Three Docking Connectors, fore, aft ,and ventral
Three Docking Cameras, one for each connector
One Sorting Block behind the forward connector for easy Station Miner unloading
Antenna and Remote Control

Recommended Add-ons:
AutoMCDonough's MA Navball mod for the NavBall Camera. Completely optional, but it can make docking alignment easier. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1401481091

Recent flight test results. New record load

Brought the Heavy Hydrogen Mule down on the Earth type world with an all up weight of 394,599Kg, including 53,000Kg of ice on board. Delivered a useful load of 267,000Kg! She was packed full to the brim, even had some still in the Improved Station Miner.

Re-entry to gravity was the usual nose-down, vertical descent with braking thrusters off. Began pulling out at 2500m AGL with well more than sufficient thrust for a powered approach to the landing pad at about 10 degrees nose down with braking thrusters on. A 2Km approach and hover to landing was easily accomplished with 26% still in the tanks and 50,000Kg of Ice still on board.

That'll do, Donkeh. That'll do...:steamhappy:
