Description
'Virtual Insanity' is a song by British funk band Jamiroquai. It was released as the second single from their third studio album, Travelling Without Moving (1996), on 19 August 1996. 'Virtual Insanity' is Jamiroquai's best known music video. At the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards in September 1997, it earned 10 nominations, winning four awards, including 'Breakthrough Video' and the 'Best Video of the Year.' In 2006, it was voted 9th by MTV viewers in a poll on music videos that 'broke the rules.' It was directed by Jonathan Glazer.

This map was made to test the feasibility of a 'moving' map. What if the entire set or the floor moved?

Features:
  • A single room
  • 4 videos
  • 4 musics / songs
  • A MOVING SET/MAP. YOU CAN 'TRAVEL WITHOUT MOVING'.
  • Low gravity
  • Dosh holdout volume
  • Dark souls reference
  • Probably some bugs/glitches
  • Might cause motion sickness

Press E to ACTIVATE songs, videos or 'traveling without moving'. Press E on another button to stop all songs and map movement. You can adjust the music/song volume by adjusting the Dialogue/Character Voice volume in the KF 2 options, Audio options, Dialog Volume. Slide the slider to adjust the music volume.

The map file size is large because 4 videos and songs are imported into the map from Youtube and Niconico. The map move in a random motion in no particular order and might even pause for a few seconds. Everything stops when the wave ends.

Sounds like a nice map but it's wayyyyyyyy too small and it's hard to survive with so many zeds insantly ganging up on me.

ALRIGHT, I FIXED THE MAP 100%. It should not lag now. Added more meshes to look like the original music video. Added support for 6+ players.

Ok. I've UPDATED it again. This time I've fixed the "Laggy" floor. If the players try to Press E to trigger the floor to move, even while the floor is already moving. Nothing will happen. That fixes like 99% of the problem. If I learn more KF2 SDK kismet, I may update this map again.

I have updated the map. If any Zeds of players fall down into the ground or off the main area, they will now teleport back in. I have made the floors in the button area (area behind the main room) non movable. The stop button works immediately for the floor now.

I have yet to fix the "Laggy" floors yet. The "Laggy" floors happens when the floors are triggered to move twice. This happens when players press the trigger button even when the floor is still moving. I think I can "fix" it.

@Captain Awesome Ah, no worries. Used to play old school DF1 with a guy who went by your name. Great fella, was hoping you were him. All the best!
