I thought that this was going to be a pretty simple single choke point map, bordering on a cheaty map, but honestly, this was REALLY well put together. You can actually move between the middle two islands, which opens up for lots of flanky fun time. As the screen shots suggest, this map is gorgeous, and the middle segments kind of strike me as having a Japanese Island kind of feel (even though Paradise Island refers to Nassau in the Bahamas if I'm not mistaken)
The only real flaw to this map is that, when fully loaded, the bottlenecks leading into the bases tend to look a bit like a fat guy's arteries and require some Railway Artillery surgery in order to get the battle flowing again. I'd like to see them widened out just a little bit and ditch the trees.
Btw, that bit about the pirate treasure? That's real, and this map has some little goodies stashed about for the enterprising commandant.
CR0NO : I play on your cards too. They are cool !
For the smoke I used a marker tool "red flag on the hotbar " then Action Marker button, right-click somewhere you want the smoke to be, On the right-side menu, select :Edit Action, open the menu to find “fx_attach” then fx_ambient and it's something like : fire_ambient_coals_00_w_smoke.
(I used that : https://www.coh2.org/guides/13449/how-to-destruction)
