Description
The Dreadnought
The dreadnought is a multi-purpose heavy ship, designed to be suitable for all types of missions and task which are available in game, including defeating installations and the final ghost ship.
For a long time, I looked for a good and flexible 30k vessel to use as standard ship. Alas, I didn't find any on the workshop which would satisfy the requirements, thus I ended up building my own. Since other players might be facing the same, I thought I would share it here.

Think inside the box
The ship has four distinctive features:
1) Armour: As you can see from the pictures, nearly the entire hull is covered in synthest armour.
2) Auto repairs: Almost the entire armour and most of the interior will automatically be repaired by the six auto hammers. The third screenshot shows the result of the /damageall command and letting the auto hammers do their work. (The test took a bit longer, so it got dark.)
3) Weapons: The ship's primary weapons consist of fourteen missile launchers all of which are included in the armoured hull; two longneck turrets serve as secondary armaments. In addition, it comes with two harpoons and APATs.
4) Lift: You might notice that the ship has a mass of 30k, but only 21k lift. This is very much on purpose, since it reduces the space used by the balloons and more importantly decreases drag, leading to the higher speed of 9.04, which is second to none for a ship this size.

Upon spawning, you will find yourself floating on the water. Using ballasts, the ship can fly, however you will need to manually adjust the controls. For this purpose, the ship comes only with lever steering wheels, I highly recommend to make yourself familiar with their handling before taking the ship into battle. (I tested it with an altitude maintainer, however it wasn't strong enough and the ship didn't fly.) When (un)loading cargo you should adjust the vertical control accordingly. Going to full descend allows you to dive as well, however keep in mind that you don't have as much well time as a real submarine.
Operationally, I'd recommend staying relatively close to the water surface since this improves the range of your missiles and prevents the cargo pads at the bottom from being hit as well. The missiles have a range of 400, however your range effectively increases when you let the enemy chase you. The high speed and fast turn rate (<30 seconds for a full turn) allow you to outmanoeuvre and outrange any vessels of comparable size. Thanks to this I was able to defeat the greater ghost ship with just this ship while suffering only minor damage.

Controls:
1&2: Missiles - They are purposely split into two groups to reduce the number of missiles colliding before reaching their target. During battle activate the groups shortly after one another.
3: Magnetic drive.
4: Auto hammers.

[Update] Added a screenshot of the new auto hammer coverage feature. A few armour piece at the top are not covered by them and need to be repaired manually.
