Anti Infestation Machine

Description
Protect your base with the anti infestation machine! By secreting chemicals into the air, insects will become unable to start infestations, within a limited radius around the machine. It will need to be periodically refueled with chemfuel of course, and needs power to function. Enjoy peace of mind knowing that your infestation disasters are a thing of the past - until the chemfuel runs out or your power dies that is.

i can confirm its not working as intended. I still get infestations on top my repellent machines

does not seem to work in all cases. infestations now seem to be more likely to start in unshielded areas, bus can still spawn right underneath the machine while running occasionally

For the fuel, electricity and effort, I would think that this should completely block infestations, not merely make the occurrence of them low. Doesn't seem worth it, otherwise.

For that matter, the game already has ways to reduce or eliminate infestation chances. Just make sure all areas are well-lit or reduce the temperature to -8°C. Alternatively, we could reduce the temperature to -17°C to stop them entirely. Also, there are popular mods which allow players to remove overhead mountain "roof" areas.

i can report its not working. Had an AI Machine in my power horse room, fully filled and working and Infestation happened there...

How would you feel about letting people use your code for their mod? I'm working on a bit of an overhaul mod that could really benefit from something like this. I'd do all my own art, I'm just bad at code and I haven't even looked at how you'd accomplish something like this. Obviously it's no big deal it you say no but it can't hurt to ask, right?
