High Difficulty (light version)

Description
This mod increases the difficulty by buffing the AI. The changes will result in more armies, better developed cities and therefore more elite units aswell. It might not be the most elegant way, to make the game harder but it is definitely is an effective one.

Compatibility:
Works for me with SFO but I never tested it with Radious. Obviously, you shouldn't use it with mods that change the same values as listed below. If you do, it (most likely) won't crash your game but it won't work properly either.

Here are the changes (left value is Vanilla, right with mod):

AI changes:

Building construction cost:
Easy: -40% to -50%
Normal: -50% to -60%
Hard: -60% to -70%
Very Hard: -70% to -80%
Legendary: nothing changed (-80%)

Recruitment cost:
Easy: 0% to -20%
Normal: -30% to -40%
Hard: -50% to -60%
Very Hard: -60% to -75%
Legendary: -70% to -85%

Upkeep cost:
Easy: nothing changed (0%)
Normal: nothing changed (0%)
Hard: -10% to -40%
Very Hard: -15% to -45%
Legendary: -20% to -70%


Player changes:

Upkeep increase on all difficulties set to 0% (vanilla had a 10% buff on easy and a 10% debuff on legendary)
Public order advantage/penalty set to 0 on all difficulties

actually would be nice to have an option for the ai bonuses to not kick in till turn 20 so it allows all the game to stabilize through the early game . Mainly using this mod to spice up the mid and late game

using this in conjunction with https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1174573838 on my empire play through right now

Seems to be a pretty nice trade off of not dealing with the being punished for fielding extra lords and armies but also getting hit with twice as many enemy forces although the first 20 turns you can see some pretty insane stuff from random factions like marienburg lol

I can't say it for sure because it depends on how this other mod changes the upkeep but my guess is that it will most likely not work. If you aim for a higher upkeep reduction for the AI, the other version of this mod has one (link is in the description).
If you want some completely different values and don't find a better alternative, I also could create an other version which shouldn't take me too much time. However I won't be able to spend time on my PC before Sunday, so it would take some time. Furthermore you'd have to tell me what exactly you want to have changed until then ;)

If I use a -50% upkeep mod and this together would that end up stacking the effect and give the AI like -90% upkeep cost? maybe ill look for an upkeep mod for player only and try use it with this

@ The Eater Thanks for this. For 陈陈陈, this is the light version actually. Mod Creator has a harder version of this or you can switch to lower difficulty.
