"You ever heard of Jesse McCoy? Of course you haven't. He's a CIA spook that works with USASOC. I worked with McCoy on a K&R in South America, he was a real hard-äss. Reliable as hell, but not a guy you invited for dinner with the family. I guess he's had it rougher than most. Apparently, he spent three years running clandestine ops against the KGB and ended up being captured. He's been shot, stabbed, tortured... And that bastard's still ticking, like Rasputin or something. That takes something powerful, to keep at it after all that shît happens to you. McCoy has spent years walking side-by-side with death. That's tough. Sometimes I think about the bad things we do. We travel the world, take a few hundred lives, ruin others, burn down a couple villages and melt some child soldiers. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. But I still don't know if I'd go as far as Jesse McCoy does."
