P1 - Macedonia
Allies: Thebes and Athens
Wins if: Darius dies, Alexander is alive, and all 10 cities of the Persian Empire are under Macedonian Control.
- Phillip lacks ambition, send Pausanias of Orestis to kill him in order for Alexander to take control of the armies of Macedon and the Hellenic League.
- Alexander’s reputation precedes him, cities will turn to his side if the defenders numbers dwindle too low, and his numbers are sufficiently high.
- Untie the gordian knot
- capture persian princess by bringing Alexander close to the princess.
- Send Alexander to Roxana
- Bring Alexander to Sabeces in Egypt and rebuild Persia’s tower outside Thebes to subjugate Egypt.
- Various units available in store

P2 - Persia
Allies: Satrapy of Lydia, Satrapy of Egypt, Satrapy of Mesopotamia
Wins if: All 10 cities of the Persian Empire are under Persian or Satrap control after 1 hour.
- Persian Immortals spawn 1 every 10 seconds (30 max) as long as monument in Persepolis remains under Persian contorl or Darius III is alive
- Darius III can raise 50 persian conscripts by bringing him to the statue on the right side of the map for 500 food (10 minutes)
- Powerful cavalry spawn every 5 minutes as long as Darius lives. (Cap of 5)
- Various units available in store

P3 - Satrapy of Egypt
Allies: Persia, Satray of Lydia, Satrapy of Mesopotamia
Wins if: All 10 cities of the Persian Empire are under Persian or Satrap control after 1 hour.
OR
Allies: Alexander, Thebes, Athens
Wins if: Darius dies, Alexander is alive, and all 10 cities of the Persian Empire are under Macedonian Control.
- Egyptian Merchant Guard spawn every 60 seconds so long as Egypt remains loyal to Darius.
- Can join Alexander against Darius if Sabeces and Alexander meet in Egypt and Alexander builds a tower in the place of Persia’s. Egypt will pay a heavy tribute to Alexander.
- An alliance with Numidia allows the hiring of Numidian Cavalry Mercenaries.

P4 - Thebes
Allies: Macedon, Athens
Wins if: Darius dies, Alexander is alive, and all 10 cities of the Persian Empire are under Macedonian Control.
- Sacred Band of Thebes 1 every 2 minutes while Thebes Town Center remains standing. (Cap of 15)
- Various units available in store

P5 - Satrapy of Lydia
Allies: Persia, Satrapy of Mesopotamia, Satrapy of Egypt
Wins if: All 10 cities of the Persian Empire are under Persian or Satrap control after 1 hour.
- Should Alexander invade, Memnon of Rhodes and his mercenaries will join your side to repel the invaders. Receive greek mercenaries every 5 minutes as long as the pavilion stands.
- Should Pergamum fall and be left garrisoned, Lydian rebels will begin to spawn, and can retake Pergamum with sufficient numbers.
- Various units available in store

P6- Athens
Allies: Macedon, Thebes
Wins if: Darius dies, Alexander is alive, and all 10 cities of the Persian Empire are under Macedonian Control.
- Athenian Hoplite 1 every 2 minutes as long as Athens Town Center stands. (Cap 30)
- Athenian Warship 1 every 2 minutes as long as Piraeus stands. (Cap 10)
- Various units available in store

P7 - Nomads
Allies: None
Wins if: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Can be played by a really bored person who tends to go afk or just an ai. Does not have attainable victory conditions.
- Various spawns that activate and deactivate according to the actions of other players.

P8 - Satrapy of Mesopotamia
Allies: Persia, Satrapy of Lydia, Satrapy of Egypt
Wins if: All 10 cities of the Persian Empire are under Persian or Satrap control after 1 hour.
- Babylonian Cavalry spawn 1 every 5 minutes as long as Babylon stands
- Various units available in store

Unopposed generally means ten or fewer enemy units. But that doesn't matter unless you are Alexander, this is your first time taking the city, and you have at least 30 military units in the city.

how exactly can i capture a city with alex? what means "unopposed"? what is this "certain number of troops within the city?

You will have noticed that Alexander can capture a city by having a certain number of troops within its bounds and being unopposed by its current occupant. This only works for Alexander. If you want to capture a city as any other player, you must destroy and rebuild the town center. This will give you the city's tax income, as well as let the game know you control it. (If victory conditions are involved, that is)
