20 Child Spawn Slots

This mod changes the number of child spawn order slots you have in your fleet control tab from 4 to 20. Now you can load 20 different ships into your spawn order and spawn them all just by pressing f. It won't look pretty, but if you really want tons of slots...

It does this by making the child spawn order slot buttons much smaller, so their preview images will of course be smaller.

It doesn't appear to break saved games. I enabled it, loaded a save file I made in vanilla, put ships in the slots, saved and exited. Then I disabled it and reloaded the save in vanilla. The extra slots and the ships I had put in them were gone, but the save worked fine.

Only issue I can think of might be if you put a design in there and didn't keep a clone of it down in your design storage, you'd probably lose the design. Keep a clone of whatever design you put in slots 5-20 in your design storage and it shouldn't become a problem.

I accomplished this by editing these cvars.txt entries:
kFleetButtonDims = {23,2}
kFleetChildCount = 20

The defaults are:
kFleetButtonDims = {7,2}
kFleetChildCount = 4

The first number in kFleetButtonDims is width, the second one is height. Bigger numbers make the buttons smaller. Smaller numbers make the buttons bigger. kFleetChildCount is the number of buttons (slots).

I wish I knew how to make a second row of buttons. If I were to keep the size at 23,2 and increase the count to 21 or more, the extra buttons would go off-screen.

If you really want more buttons, just change that 23 to something even higher, and set the count higher. Or if you prefer I also uploaded versions of this mod with 7 and 11 slots.
