Epic's Scottish blackhouse

Description
My CV version of an ancient form of dwelling for common folk in Scotland, Ireland, and the Hebrides, where some are in use as summer cottages even to this day. These simple houses were made with two layers of stacked stone walls with a layer of earth or peat in the center and the door would face east to allow morning sunlight to warm the interior. The roof would be supported with rafters made from often reused and curved lumber. The roofing was a thatch made of grain straw, reeds, or peat and had to be replaced yearly.
Inside they were often divided by only a simple wicket partition. The first room was the byre (or barn) where the livestock were kept and might have a crude drain for animal waste but would only be cleaned out once a year in spring and used, often with the old thatch, as fertilizer for the crops. Many examples still in use have the byre converted into a rustic sitting room. The second room was the family residence, with a central open hearth for warmth, light, and cooking. No chimneys were used as the smoke helped to preserve the thatch while dissipating through it.

Builder's notes: Only one premium recipe was used, the medieval door, which is easily replaced with another rustic door. There are also a few gingerbread eighths (slices) inside, you can simply omit them if you don't have the recipe. See the last screenshot for cornerstone placement guide.
