Description


Please Read:

Attached a YT video in case people get lost. The Tank Room has a ladder that leads downstairs to the radio room where you can initiate the finale.

If you're playing the map on SOLO, please change the difficulty to Advanced, Normal or Easy as the bots will be completely useless at the gas-collecting stage. The best way to beat it on Expert is to have friends to help you (like Dead Center finale).

A short campaign based on the following CS 1.6 rat maps:

Inspired by the Area 51 raid as well as 2001 Space Odyssey...

The MISSION:

1. Unlock the tank room door and call for the rescue.
2. Collect gas ELEMENT 115 to power up the Flying Saucer.
3. Don't swim in the bathtub...


There's a ton of supplies, pills and defibs throughout the map as the survivor Bots tend to do something stupid around the ladders... (infected Bots are totally fine, which is weird) there's nothing I can do to fix it as the NAV seems ok...I guess it has something to do with the hard-coded AI behaviours...

It's a small map... but I still spent around one month on it... because Source Engine and the NAV system suck and break everything upon compilation is awesome and won't go obsolete for the next 2000 years.

The secret room has the full credit for all of the contributors back in 2006.

By the way, just want to be clear... the map is not ported; it was made from scratch based on Poda's original layout.
I wrote to Poda about using his layout as a reference, but he has not replied yet (after all ... the email address is probably defunct after so many years). Nevertheless if he one day decides to comes back to the community and demands that I take down the mod, I will be fine doing so.

What can I say about this map? good for your proposal, it is reasonable, I played this map in pairs and found it extremely easy, however as I like challenges I decided to try to do it alone, my opinion is that this way the map can be really incredible, as it is You need to be very careful when picking up the gallons, in addition to having a huge concern for everyone special. Because it's a single map I'll give it 7/10. but it delivers excellent fun

u know i kind of want to come back and fix the varoius problems (or just shortcomings) of this map, but i lost the source files... so this map will just stay as it is... forever.

Honestly when I saw the cover and the theme I was excited. But the truth is that it has been the worst map I have ever played, there are a lot of jumps that incapacitate the bots and the players, but those jumps are not that they are unnecessary, they are jumps that force you to hurt yourself, the truth is for this crappy map, you had better not have done anything, it is poorly designed and poorly lit, making it unintuitive.

also i think there's a fixed molotov spawn at the start so killing the early tank shouldn't be an issue
