Description
IMPORTANT: CURRENTLY, MONSTERS CAN ONLY BE PLAYED AS THE AI. USING THEM AS THE PLAYER WILL CAUSE FREQUENT CRASHES IF UNLUCKY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

LIST OF KNOWN ISSUES:

Seeing a Crypt be pillaged will open up a summoning UI. Simply close it if this happens.

Adds Terrors to the world, ruled by the Demon King himself! Explore a new kind of Civilizaiton game, as you must fight against the various Terrors from the Fire Emblem series. What kind of horrors await you in the fog of war, there's only one way to find out! However, not all hope is lost, as the Crest of Flames awaits completion...

Fomortiis - Nightmare
Begin the game with a Necrodragon and the Black Temple, which is able to train monsters. All captured cities must be razed, and are converted into the City Ruins improvements, which retain the city's territory and can spawn monsters. Upon Razing an enemy city, gain a free Cantor.

When Fomortiis meets a player, they will instantly declare war on them. This war is permanent.

Cantor - Settler/Great General Replacement
The monsters start the game with a Cantor. Cantors grant nearby allies a combat boost, and may spawn enemies on a cooldown. They are a civilian unit and have no combat strength of their own.

The Black Temple - Provides a defensive bonus to those on it. Deals damage to adjacent enemies, and may spawn monsters.

Soul Furnace - May only be built on resources. Provides the monsters with science.

Tomb - Cannot be constructed adjacent to another tomb. Grants the territory around where it is constructed to the monsters.

Crypt - Can be constructed outside of friendly territory. Claims the tile it is built on. Must be built on a hill adjacent to a luxury resource, and not be adjacent to fresh water. Crypts spawn monsters on a cooldown.

The Monsters have a bevy of unique units, all of which can be viewed in the in game Civolopedia.

New Religious belief: Invoke Flesh
Invoke Flesh allows the player to purchase Crypts in their cities with faith. Cities with a Crypt may produce monster units.

The Fire Emblem:
New world wonder that provides 1 free social policy and +6 faith per turn.

Mod Support:
Fire Emblem TSL
Fire Emblem 8 OST Mod
Fire Emblem Affinities
Fire Emblem Weapon Triangle
The Emblem Project

caused a soft lock on my first turn

shame, seems fun

I enabled several Fire Emblem mods, e.g. religions, units, wonders, etc. and the game is more stable after reaching the modern era than running without them.

The mod is completely incompatible with Ancient World at War. Crashes on the first turn.

Crashes without fail once reaching the modern era playing as humans and with no other mods enabled. Reloading a previous save may delay the crash, but it will happen.

I wonder-will the monsters fight Barbarians? Or team up with them?

if u play as the monsters, DO NOT go into ruins, it will crash the game

As a fire emblem fan, I appreciate this mod for non-fire emblem reasons. This is honestly a really awesome concept for a civilization, it reminds me of having a Devouring Swarm, Fanatic Purifier, or something like that as an AI in Stellaris. It's honestly something I really enjoy, and part of me wants to see more versions of things like this - although, i dont really know what else you could do other than fix this mod's issues.

All units, there has been a platform wide problem in the entirely of Steam, especially in the Steam Workshop.

Better make use of the direct download, especially the Steam Workshop Downloader or Steam Workshop Download, to download the mod manually for the time being. And then use the 7-zip to unzip the mods that have downloaded.

This is a steam issue. If the civ5mod file does not extract into a folder on its own, you need to extract the contents into A SEPERATE FOLDER WITHIN THE MODS FOLDER.

+, mod does not appear in the list, although the file in the folder
