Improved LOS

Description
LOS is "Line of Sight".
It describes what the person selected can actually see if you drew a line from their eyes to the object.

Areas in shaded areas are places the person can not see behind.
You can still hear sounds and even fire into those areas indirectly, but since you can directly see in these areas because of trees, terrain or buildings, your chances of having an accurate hit are lowered.

This mod simply improves tactics by making areas of out line of sight red and makes it more user friendly to see.

The first 3 images show clearly where you can have line of sight.

The last image shows default in-game LOS which makes it harder to see because it clashes with interface and is also harder to see structures or items as well with the all white.

Does not modify any other game play aspects.

Unsure if this works online or not.
It does not give the user any tactical advantage.

Does not require any DLC or mods.

UPDATES
I have uploaded several other color versions of this mod.
Just search for Improved LOS in the workshop and the other versions should show up.
You can be subscribed to all of them, but in the in-game mod menu, make sure only ONE is active.

COMPATIBILITY with Other Mods:

Unfortunately, any mod that uses:
UIInGameLineOfSightResource.ndf
Found in: Steel Division\Mods\EXAMPLE\GameData\UserInterface\Use\InGame
will be incompatible with my LOS mods.

Check with mod authors to see if they modify that file.

Sry for the time without answer, i was thinking that mod modified it to take care at the level of the terrain as the presentation picture shows us.

@FrenchAce All this mod does is literally change the transparency and color of the default LOS.
It doesn't modify how LOS works at all, so anything that is not working correctly is not a result of this mod.
You might want to check for any other mods installed?

Not working for me, it doesn't take care of the terrain variations.

That's a good idea, great work.

@SteveTheHero
This does not modify any game play stats, it only allows the LOS to be viewed easier

Does this increase the range of infantry firearms?
