Limited Ammo Mod

Description
THE MOD

The main feature of the mod is to limit the ammo in guns making the gameplay more risky and choosing loadouts more important.

USAGE

In the doctrine tree there are 4 new abilities:

-Limited Ammo (pistols)
-Limited Ammo (rifles)
-Limited Ammo (shotguns)
(as of patch 1.1) - Limited Ammo (enemies)


Enabling one of them will limit the ammo to one magazine per weapon in the selected category. It does not require doctrine points so you can enable the abilities even if you dont have any, however the game will take them if you have some left (limitation of the game, I cant do anything with it).

KNOWN BUGS

The biggest bug is that when the ammo ends in a weapon and the character does not switch to the pistol (for example: if the gun fight ends with the last bullet in the magazine or you dont have the weapon switching ability), the character will be stuck in a infinite reloading loop and won't be able to do anything except moving. I am still working on a workaround.
There is also a small visual bug that changes all magazine capacity values in the weapon details panel to 0+1, however I am near patching it out.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Honestly I recommend using only the rifle and shotgun ammo limitation to avoid the bug I mentioned above.

FUTURE

If you have any suggestions feel free to leave them in the comments, however i will not be supporting this standalone mod for too long because its a part of a much bigger project I am working right now.
also if you encounter any bugs and there probably will be some, please let me know.

There is no problem with unlmited ammo it suits the game well, however I made this mod to emphasize switching weapons and to put a new twist to the whole idea of reloading. I just think it adds an extra layer to the gameplay - its for fun really.

first of all the game is porgrammed that way that you can either have unlimited magazines or only one, second of all during a mission you very rarely reload more than once so even if having 2 or 3 mags was possible it would be the same as having unlimited ammo

I'd love to see NPCs playing fair. If Troopers have limited ammo, then so should NPCs like the Juggernaut and Nameless Thug.
