Orcs Must Die 2 Revisited (VER 0.65)

Description
Welcome to the 0.65 Version of the OMD 2 Revisited mod. It revamps (some, so far) levels of the game with new mobs, that, together with remade waves, and rebalanced gear, will make the game more challenging but not impossible. It now also buffs some of the unused gear to make it more viable and to pair up with the other ones.

Sorry for taking so long for this update by the way, had some technical difficulties and I also was kind of ambitious with this one as you see on the changelog.

The aim for this mod as many others, is to retouch the main levels and give them a bump not only in difficulty, but also spicing them up with some new custom variations of enemies.

So far, changes have been made to:

Changelog
0.10:
First release of the mod
The Edge (1/5 Difficulty)
The Tunnels (3/5 Difficulty)
The Chasm (2.5/5 Difficulty)

3 New Custom Mobs

The tough Small and Chain, a weaker version of the Ball and Chain mob.
The deadly Elemental King, a new tier onto the elementals that spawns 2 Elemental Lords upon death.
The fast and annoying Kobold Sprinter, this one is a big Kobold that will still sprint for the rift and will have to catch your attention cause simple traps won't stop his extra toughness.

0.20:
New Levels redone:
The Crossing (4.0/5 Difficulty)
Big Balleys (4.5/5 Difficulty)

2 New Custom Mobs
The really (REALLY) annoying Orc Snipers, they'll shot you from very far away with deadly accuracy and damage.
The destructive Kobold Detonators, they are faster and take a bit more punishment than your normal sappers, also, their explosion radius is bigger, and they tend to aim more for your barricades, but be careful they don't aim for you as well.

0.30:
Some of the new mobs got retouched and a makeover, making them stand out more from their counterparts (I couldn't do it for all sadly due to texture bugs)

New Level redone:
Hidden Gulch (4/5 Difficulty)

New Custom Mobs
The Vomit Fat Bats (I'm bad at names), are a chunky piece of flying tough meat, that will disrupt you and the area with poison and force your attention on them.
The Fire Children always come in packs, be sure not to stay still next to them or they'll erase you quicker than you can say "WHY ARE THERE SO MANY OF THESE DAMN FLYERS".

0.50:
New Level redone:
Precipice (5/5 Difficulty, also the danger of lower framerates on very low end pc's)

New Custom Mob
The dreaded experimental Mountain Trollgre. A weird mutation between an Ogre and (be surprised) a Troll. With all the advantages and less disadvantages. Really tough to kill, and also regens health.

Rebalanced weapons
Autoballista: Fire rate increased, upgrades made better
Bear Trap: Cost halved
Boulder Chute: Frequency of use and damage increased
Spike Trap: Firerate and damage halved
Ice Vent: Cost lowered by 50
Steam Trap: Steam duration increased
Berserker Trinket: Damage dealt increased, health threshold upped to 40%, active is a few seconds longer
Defense Trinket: Active duration halved, cooldown lowered by 66%
Bone Amulet: Golem health drain lowered by 25%, Golem attack slightly buffed, Primary cost lowered by 20%
Poly Ring: Ogres health increased
Jar of Ghosts: Spectral Image lasts much longer, but has a longer cooldown
Teleportation Ring: Costs less mana
Ceiling Darts: Damage increased, unique upgrades chances slightly increased
Dwarf Grenadier: Slightly buffed damage
(These still need some testing probably, I haven't done enough on them, if you feel as if they are either too strong or are still too weak leave a comment down below.)

0.65:
Bugfixes:
Now mobs have their texture correctly reapplied to them when they break out of stone. (Previously it erase their textures and reverted them to normal ones)

Rebalanced mob:
Small and Chain now makes orcs much quicker but also more vulnerable. This does make any levels where she spawns harder so be careful.

New Level redone:
Servants Entrance (2/5 Difficulty)
The Passages (4/5 Difficulty)

Lots of new Custom Mobs
The Elite Orcs are here! These are new variations of the three existing orcs, each one with their own gimmick.

The Elite Statue Orc, really tough guy and takes punishment like a champ, except when you smack him really hard.
The Elite Radioactive Orc. This is a new one to add to the "annoying to deal with" list. It has a special radius of disease that slowly drains your health away.
The Elite Frostium Orc. This one is as of now exclusive on the Nightmare difficulty of The Passages, but it should come around later in normal levels. It has an chilling area that will slow you down, and an attack that will freeze your bones. Dangerous when multiple of them are around

Lastly, two extra mob variations has been added
The deadly Gnoll Berserk. At first, slower than it's counterpart, but when enraged it will chase you down no matter what. It has a life-steal effect included that will toughen up the minions chances to kill it.
The misterious Shadow Troll. I don't want to spoil this one too much, I'll just mention that being enshadowed, your mana drains to 0, and you also take extra damage, have fun with that.

All of these levels each have a custom mob into them, giving each one a theme of some sorts. The waves are not super clogged with monsters and it's not impossible, just a fun and different experience. Hope you guys like it, leave a comment if you enjoyed it or have any suggestions on it!.

Also as a note: you can't do more than one variation of the same mob sadly, so if you suggest a new one, pick from the ones I haven't touched upon yet please

This looks like an amazing mod (even the second level is tough!), but progress doesn't save when you use mods on OMD2, so.. That just kills this mod, unless there's some way around it :/ Would be nice if that was mentioned on this page somewhere. Literally everyone who downloads this mod and doesn't know about it is going to be frustrated when they find out.

That people put so much hard, quality work into this game after so many years, its joyful to see.
This was one of my favourite games of all time. I know, sounds cringy, but i kind of, fell in love with this game when i was a kid. This mod will surely bring some nostalgic feelings.
Thanks for making this game more interesting and increasing its longevity.

Thanks heaps for modding this game, It's great to be able to revisit it with some new content. I was just wondering what other MODs this one requires to be installed?
Cheers.

We understand! You just do what you have to do. Modding can wait. It's not going anywhere. Just... please don't forget! X-D

Thanks for all the kind comments you guys, sorry for leaving this thing pretty much abandoned and not even replying to anyone of you. Been super busy with school, I will try to get back to modding this game once it's over. Until December 20 I'll be focusing on my responsabilities lol. Thank you guys for the feedback as well, I'll take it into consideration once I get to update this thing. As for the DLC, they are required for some mechanics some mobs use, though, if I'm correct, if you don't have the DLC installed, some mobs might not appear, I haven't really tested it out

Five skulled all the levels on Nightmare. It's a pretty good mod and I hope you do more levels; the new enemies are by and large challenging and it's definitely a good way to get back into the game. The only enemy I out and out disliked was the new fliers; they're obnoxious from a design perspective since they they obliterate your archers and can't be dealt with via traps. You *have* to have Gab/Max deal with them and spend a lot of resources to fight them. But outside of that, good work. Can't wait to play more!

Just got started with the mod but love it so far - looking forward to playing through Orcs Must Die again!
