I sadly couldn't get more than from roughly Warwick down to Charlestown.
Plus the game prevents a large chunk of the map.

I used the following tools to make this work:

Terrain.party >>> Allowed me to get a topographical map to import into Cities Skylines.
Better Overlay Import >>> This helped me see how roads are properly built. Like the Route 95 South and North bound, and the 295 split...which looks like crap but w/e.

Hello Tom! I haven't touched this map in a REAL long time. I'll take on your notes here and see if I can make those changes without starting over!

So, what are the exposed boulders in the ground such that when I try to build my highway over them I get an orange square and some icon pop up I don't understand. Buried treasure? I'm going to go around it until I understand.

Aha! I just got the mod to unlock all 25 tiles, and I see that the Great Swap IS all oil. BRAVO! (By the way, for some local early American history, I recommend people look up the Great Swamp Fight. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Swamp_Fight
I learned about it in Philbrick's book "Mayflower". Great read!) Thanks again for this great Rhode Island map! I can't wait to start building in earnest!

I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area. Wife from Portsmouth. So, I've decided to build up Aquidneck Island with the central freeway down the middle, as had once been planned. No more East Main/West Main narrowness and lights! Plus, I'm going to put in an underground metro and build the island up. You've done a fantastic job with the map from what I can tell. Just getting started with Cities: Skylines. But, I have to laugh. You've made Aquidneck mostly all oil. However, I think it should all be agriculture! My wife grew up riding horses all where I'm putting my freeway - she'll be very sad. How about putting the oil up by Warwick - more industrial there. Or over by the Great Swamp. Not much doing there. Anyways, I'm having fun with it. We'll see where it goes. Thanks!
