Lockheed M-21 & D-21 Drone

The Lockheed M-21 was a prototype of the SR-71 that carried the D-21 supersonic reconnaissance drone on its back. The drone would release from the M-21, fly around and take pictures, relay them back to the jet, and then self-destruct.

To achieve this same effect, you'll need to gain a decent amount of elevation, and then nose down while pressing [ 5 ] to release. If you don't nose down while releasing the drone there is a chance it will crash into you, as its thruster overrides immediately. From here you can connect to the drone and control it remotely using antennas. A second player in the navigation cockpit would be able to achieve this easily while the pilot focuses on flying.

A long range sensor in the drone provides enemy positions and is capable of relaying them to other jets, improving their LiDAR capabilities. This technique can be used to target, lock-on, and destroy an enemy from incredibly long distances.

Much more fun with a boosted top speed mod, I highly recommend it!
