GenieBs Continental Divide

Description
v1.1

HOW TO WIN
- Standard winning conditions, but only three relics needed for relic victory. (A fourth will cancel timer)

ALLEGIANCE DIVIDE
Every 20 minutes an Allegiance Divide will trigger forcing players into two teams fighting over the central Monument (spawning after 6 min). Before each Allegiance Divide event occurs whoever controls the Monument will spawn a pope in the upper corner who can nominate a player to become leader of one of the two allegiances. Once the two leaders are set all other players can then choose who they wish to form their allegiance with. To do this other players spawn an Elector (King) and move it to the allegiance flag they wish to support. Each divide lasts 10 minutes and whichever allegiance controls the Monument after that much time has passed will be declared the winner. The leader of the winning Allegiance will gain a relic in his capital, Whichever player held the Monument will gain up to 2 towers near the Monument and all players not part of the winning allegiance will take damage to stone structures.
The main areas for this are marked with gallows. The Monument spawns in the center of the map after 10 min and gives gold equal to the value of 1 relic.

The two alternating phases more in detail:
- Phase 1 leaves the owner of the Monument with a pope in the upper corner with which he can nominate a new player for the rivaling sides. The pope is given 100 seconds / 20 years before the end of phase 1 and must be used before the end of the phase. The flag in the ruins indicates which Allegiance the pope is to choose leader for this round.
- Phase 2 starts with the players choosing sides in the conflict over the Monument. Note there is a limit to each side. This is all done in the upper corner with the Electors (Kings). For every two players eliminated the limit is narrowed down for each side by one. Leaders are set to support their teams while the others may choose sides. The one who gained the pope current round gains an advantage here. If you don’t choose a side you will function as a team of one. You then may gain an advantage when choosing side in next round.
RESULT of the Allegiance Divide at the end of phase 2 is a winning team proclaimed according to who controls the Monument. This happens every 20 min.
- The controller of the Monument gains towers in near the Monument if space for the (spots marked with lumber).
- The leader of the team gains a relic in his initial capital if open (marked with rock and torch of owner). Collect three relics to win.
- All players not on the winning side takes damage to defensive stone structures: 500 points to towers, 750 to town centers, stone gates and walls and 1000 to castles.
- If a player wins the flag without a side chosen, he wins, possibly gaining both the towers and the relic in his initial capital. Everyone else loses and will take double damage.
