During the development of the Portal gun, Aperture Laboratories scientist Jethro Q.Walrustitty discovered that through subtle manipulation of Casimir engines and the negative energy exotic matter used to stabilise the portals it was possible to create wormhole portals light-years apart. Theoretically it would be possible to also place them in seperate temporal locations - different points in time. No testing has been done (yet) with sending organic matter through such a portal, but experiments have shown that light can pass through if the portal is large enough, too large and the wormhole mouth collapses, but this chamber is an demonstration of the concept. The light bridges in this chamber are all created using light from 30,000 years ago (or if our calculations are wrong it may be from yesterday, about tea-time, we're still working out the glitches).
