No Map

Description
There is now no map to use in the game.

The sun rises in the east, and sets in the west.

With this mod you will not see which direction you are looking into, or where exactly you are at least when it comes to the map. This also means, that if one of your own people get's kidnapped, and you don't right click on them using another character and move directly to them, you might not know where they are being held.

Here is also a guide to lock the camera to a closeup third person view for a totally different game experience which appreciates all the map details and surprises behind the next hill.

See if this mod updates for you now, since there might have been some leftover stuff in this mod that could create your issue.

hmm, well, I guess these results could have been expected: I put Dark UI and Dark UI Retexture below No Map, and the UI is fine now, but the map is fully vanilla and functional.

I think it's because UI modifications probably can't tell the difference between a change and the entire file, so the last mod overwrites everything.

You should try to put the UI mod last, and this on top of it. I use Stripped UI and it seems to work as intended. Let me know how it goes after you switch the order. Hopefully that will fix it.

i'm loading this absolute last but it seems to create alignment issues in my Dark UI. The texture of the UI itself becomes misaligned with actual UI elements, for example my actual health bars are no longer inside the intended rectangles of the UI texture.

I think there are some map mods out there that show the regions on the map, but they are visible all the time.

It would take some trickery to get the map to update a region as well as the position of the town. There are files that have the town sprites in them, but I am not sure you can increase their size etc. Someone would have to have a look at that, but I doubt that will be me, since I have moved on to other things. I might out of curiosity have a look at it at some point and see how far this stuff could be stretched.

Can you make that when you arrive in a town the marker on the map also display the area around?
