Description
Updated for Stellaris 3.8

Makes bombardments more powerful, as they feel too weak and slow to me

Description
Orbital Bombardment is painfully slow, even though dozens of ships are dropping nukes on planets... gotta go faster!

This buffs all bombardment stances and also gives you some values in the description to actually compare them, instead of vague text like "Light" or "Moderate" damage.

What does this buff look like? For example, the daily devastation from Armageddon Bombardment in vanilla is 0.08%, with this mod it is 0.34%!

Also, Bombardment Descriptions now show damage percentages so you can compare them instead of just mentioning "Low" or "Moderate" damage which means nothing.

Bombardment Changes in detail:

Selective Bombardment
- Planet damage increased from 50% to 150%
- Army damage increased from 100% to 150%

Indiscriminate Bombardment
- Planet damage increased from 100% to 300%
- Army damage increased from 150% to 200%
- Pop kill chance increased from 50% to 150%

Armageddon Bombardment
- Planet damage increased from 150% to 600%
- Army damage increased from 200% to 400%
- Pop kill chance increased from 100% to 300%

Pox Bombardment
- Army damage increased from 150% to 200% (military would have measures to defend against pathogens, so it is still effective but not super effective
- Pop kill chance increased from 150% to 450% (best bombardment VS pops)

Raiding Bombardment
- Planet damage increased from 100% to 300% (to get to abducting pops faster, the game unfortunately only abducts them with enough damage, which makes no sense)
- Pop kill chance reduced from 100% to 50%

Save Game Compatibility
Should be save to install and remove during running games (I had no problems so far).
Bombardment checks are done when they happen, so this should adjust automatically.

Mod Compatibility
Should be compatible with almost anything as it does not modify vanilla files, but it does overwrite all current bombardment stances.

Values in files adjusted:
common\bombardment_stances\00_bombardment_stances.txt - changes bombardment stance damage values
This mod does not overwrite these files in their entirety, but changes some values, and thus will be incompatible with mods that overwrite the same values.

It also overwrites the following localisation strings:
bombardment_selective_desc
bombardment_indiscriminate_desc
bombardment_armageddon_desc
bombardment_raiding_desc
bombardment_pox_desc

Localisation:
English - by me

Localisation conflicts should not result in any real issues, but you may be missing texts or getting wrong texts.

Known Issues
- There is some odd behaviour with bombarding planets during first contact events / before proper contact is established: Apart from army damage no bombardment damage is getting applied; not sure if this can be "fixed" or if this will affect real games much (happened during testing)

Yeah it works fine. If you have mods that add other stances (Expanded Events, for example), you'll need to put in the compatibility yourself though

even if no update, does it work properly on 3.4 still?
