Making Qud Friends

Description
Make your own friends with tinkering! Construct an Autovalet and mod it to give it treads or arms!

This mod is built to work with the latest beta build, not the default stable version of the game.

Hope this eventually gets updated once the game hits 1.0 and they stop changing fundamental things so much. It seems like a really cool idea and I think fits in the world and the tinkering skill quite well.

yeah, I'm only doing fixes to my mods that are simple 5 minute jobs for the moment just cause I can't keep up with the update schedule rn.

I don't know enough C# to fix the error even though I tried lol
It's ok if holding off on updates. Can't blame any mod author with CoQ's update schedule on the way to 1.0

When I tinker up an autovalet, it's always hostile. Awoken corpses are friendly, but not companions. Are they meant to automatically be companions, or am I missing a step?

On current build as of writing, this mod seems to be causing save interference, when installed and active I get an error message any time I save that the save is corrupted. IDK if it's clashing with any other mod I have installed, it wasn't in previous Qud builds, but wanted to let you know about this in case any one else gets the issue

another thing I found is autovalets are so powerful in melee combat, while under control via helmet, it smash its enemy like 5~10 times before the enemy can react, likely a bug with the turn mechanic.
