Overview
The AC-22 Tempest, known as the Assault Craft Type-22, or simply the Tempest is the successor to the AC-21 Bayonet, in contrast, the Tempest honed to be sleeker, faster, and overall supersede the AC-21 Bayonet as an interceptor. Likely Questions
Q: Why is the rolling pitch slow?
A: This is by fault of the inverted rotary wings; Though as of Mk.II I've made much revision to it to allow faster pitches at the best of my abilities

Q: Is this survival ready?
A: As of 7/8/19 the tempest is survival ready, however due to use of rotors you can't actually build it

I officially announce the Tempest MK.II

Been a little busy late and playing other games. I plan on releasing Tempest Mk.II that'll be survival ready. Which means it'll be slightly larger than this to accommodate all the necessary components to achieve survival ready status. :obwr:

Well I haven't released the update yet, but glad you're willing to at least give her a second chance :dappershark:

I'll give her another whirl :) i didnt take the large reactor into account on the gyros power consumption :p

Unfortunately in survival one hydrogen generator can only supply about one and a half small thrusters at maximum power, and squeezing enough of them in, while still keeping a sleek design can be rough, I wish you luck CLᴺ | ๖ۣۜLancelot!

With your comment @WarDaddy I've taken liberty to see why she can't fly... the hydrogen thrusters just don't want to cooperate. However with the script that Spite linked (thanks for the link) the atmospheric thrusters on their own can lift the ship. However, the hydrogen thrusters still fail to work thus making you nothing more than a unbound elevator. So I'll see what I can do to fix that issue. And also, those gyroscopes are needed to keep the ship stable otherwise it'll just lean in a direction.

Looks amazing but she cant cut it in survival.
No Ice too start off easy enough no big deal. But a deeper look under the hood reveals show that on Earth planet she can not even get off the ground at sea level. The power supply is dismal youcan get away with far fewer gyroscopes... by like a factor of -12 maybe more. Furthermore no hydrogen tank. The O2/H2 Generator can not even scratch the surface of the supply of Hydrogen needed.

I would take off the Survival ready until you put Ice & Uranium in the blueprint. she does look sexy though.

Hey Lancelot, nice build! :steamhappy:

I see in the comments there was some mention of needing a script for using thrusters on subgrids, have you had a look at Whip's Rotor Thruster Manager?

I'll admit it is ugly from the underside, but then again this was me whipping something up in a 3 hour period. A Mk.II is always a feasible option...

eh it looks good from above if that counts for something, you could work on the rest of the looks to improve it, the shaping felt weird if not viewed from above lol. i guess you can work on that on your next build.
