DESCRIPTION:
Deadlock, a special operations team employed by the mysterious Project, is sent into the ruined city of Grammendorf in the nation of Helvantis to recover sensitive and incriminating data linking it to the notorious incident two years prior. Fighting their way through infested streets, the team has to retrieve the required data before moving to their next task: swift removal of a group of scavengers that has moved into the area.

BRIEFING:
Two years ago, an event occurred in the nation of Helvantis, particularly in the Grammendorf metroplex. An incident at The Project's research and containment outpost in the area saw an accidental release of a contaminant byproduct from one of the specimens, leading to an outbreak in the greater Grammendorf area. Containment efforts failed and, as such, the site was wiped clean according to Cadence Protocol. Southern Grammendorf is now a lake and the bomb that made said crater was blamed on African extremists, pulling attention away from the area and sanitizing the threat. Mostly.

Sub-specimens, fondly hereby referred to as "Zombies," still inhabit the ruins of the city in large numbers. A military cordon around the province has kept them contained but new concerns have come to light: broadcasts have been transmitted from inside the containment zone. Scavengers have broken the cordon in search of heirlooms and certain byproducts with intent to sell. This leaves us with two notable problems: materials are escaping the cordon and data incriminating the Project has not been fully expunged, leaving the possibility for discovery. We cannot stop the knowledge of the sub-specimens. However, it is our utmost priority to ensure the Project is not incriminated and no further materials leave the cordon for risk of contamination.

Our main man on site back in 2018 was Dr. Richard Peyroux, the liaison between the local government and the Project's blacksite facility. While true scale and scope of what was happening was never known, all hidden behind a series of fronts and red tape, Dr. Peyroux had far more detailed records in his personal care. Were these records discovered, we would be as well. This cannot be allowed.

Before the bomb was detonated, Dr. Peyroux was scheduled to stay in the guest house at the governor's manor to be evacuated to safety. This did not happen. As such, we believe his personal effects are still in the AO. Deadlock, your team is to search the building for any of the doctor's personal effects. If none are found, you are to move into the city and search both his office in the Agola Solar building and his place of residence just south of the city hall.

Your second objective is to figure out just who and where these scavengers are. If they are in the city, it is our job to see that they never leave for the safety of those outside. To clarify the RoE for this op: you are weapons free. If it moves, kill it. Be advised that the area is densely populated with zombies and they aren't to be taken lightly. Keep your distance.

Find the intel. Clear the scavengers.

You will be inserted just south of the governor's manor. Extraction will be decided by Mother Goose based on what you discover on site.

-To start data downloads, approach the laptop, look at it, press MMB, and select the option with MMB.
-To close the download window, hit the red X or press Esc.
-Sunday Revive is used to provide a revive experience in Singleplayer.
-There is a secret intel point in this mission. Find it and read its completed task for further lore!

me and two other friends couldnt get the server to work we had all the mods downloaded and had helvantis installed but the server was not responding any known issues?

Great mission. Definite FPS drop at the end.

Great concept, fun mission and tension - but, getting FPS drop. Starting at 60+ when the mission begins and halfway through the fps drops to 5-6 fps.

Glad to see you're back in action. Always enjoyed your OPTRE missions, and I hope you'd be willing to update them eventually. Even if not, can't wait to try out this mission!

Thanks for the feedback! I've only had it tested on my and another computer which are higher end rigs and I found dips into the 25~ FPS range towards the end, so I understand. I'll keep it in mind!

Completed this part. You may have to lower the zombies count. Not all have super CPU. I had 8 fps at the end
