Description
We here at the J.Q.Walrustitty department offered our test subjects a choice between cake or taking this test. We really didn't expect such a rush for the cake..... and there's none left....... so off you go and enjoy your slice of test chamber.
(Once you hit the first pedestal button above your head tractor beams begin to carry a sphere to a button which once activated turns on all the laser fields. If your lucky enough to have made it to the final room but don't have the neccesary puzzle elements you will be given a chance to reset and try again. If not, then you will die. Some elements are present simply to reset the puzzle, others to kill you and one simply to annoy people who can't hit a button while flying through the air)

(edit: tweaked to fix shortcut, reduce repetitive deaths from specific element and to reflect initially intended solution. Many thanks to Stagger lee for finding the shortcut and his feedback.)

Read the descrption... Yeah... that would've been a good idea... :P LOL It seemed like a lot of text to read, and when I saw the first line, I thought some cave johnson story appeared. I quickly skipped the the note at the end, which seemed to follow that view. D'oh!

I just watched your video too, I try to give hints in the desrciption if I think something needs mentioning before starting, I did mention a couple of things that could of helped you out.

Ah, thats a good change indeed. :) Its past midnight here, so I'll not try it now, but I'll give it another go tomorrow or the day after, depending on how much time I have tomorrow.

The major change for me was that initial jump, i set it so instead of dying nd reloading, if you fail it you just get flung back to begining, it was just too annoying.

Ah, LPChip i spotted some of those issues too, and stagger lee pointed out some stuff which I have now fixed and re uploaded. I think you may prefer the new version. To be fair it was pretty rushed, I wanted to challenge myself by trying to limit the time spent on it to 2 hours, ii only started it this afternoon, but after feedback and some further playtesting I just had to tweak it.

I had a bit of problems with this map. It took me quite a bit of time before I figured out the first move, and when I finally found it, it seemed that its a matter of quickly finding out where to go next. On top of that, the map broke on me, but this is not your fault. I saved exactly as the sphere went into the next funnel and because of that, it got stuck on a map load. This in term caused the map to break where I couldn't finish it. As I couldn't really make heads and tales of the map, that kind of was hard...

There were some things that were based on luck, such as the first cube staying on the button or not, causing me to die for no reason. For that reason, the map seemed a bit rushed. This could be something great if more time was spent.

No worries, thanks for letting me know. I've reconfigured the chamber to fix it and tweak a couple of other things as well.

I studied the map and quickly discovered a way to break your map. (sorry)

Use the faithplate to go across and hit the button. When the funnel activates, ride across but drop down onto the laser mechanism, walk across it and drop down. Use that faithplate down there to land into the funnel it sends you to. Wait for the sphere to get to you, snag it and slide over to the other funnel. Ride it down and drop into the upper area and then drop down in front of the exit.
