Hello I wanted to speak with you. Your visuals inspired me and I wanted to ask you a question in regards to your creation.

Aiight. Thank you sir. Now I just gotta apply it among a bunch of other things.

I'm honestly not sure which it is. It might just be from the grid lines beneath the water from the background. I also added a water effect in front of the pillar layer at the bottom with the same settings as the background water effect so that could be it? These are the settings i had on the water ripple:
Animation Speed: .15
Ratio: 8.56
Ripple Strength: .12
Ripple Scale: .1
Scroll Direction: 0
Scroll Speed: .19

Thanks for the speedy response :) Layers isn't really an issue. Got lots of experience with GimpShop. It's more the perspective I think I might have trouble with. Is the water effect scaled in any way to be more intense on top and less so as it goes down? Or is that all just an illusion created from the background layer?

Its a 2D wallpaper with multiple layers (Sonic and the pillar he's standing on are in a layer in front of the background layer). The water is just the water ripple effect on the background layer. If you can't use multiple layers with the picture you're working with, you can use a mask to make the water effect only show up in specific areas.

I'm trying to create a wallpaper with similar elements. Such as the perspective scaled water. Did you use a 2D scene or a 3D scene to put this together?
