Fushigi no Umi no Nadia: Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water

Description
This is the Sega Genesis game based on the animated television serial of the same name.
Nadia and Jean go on an adventure that very roughly follows the plot of the original.
This game is tagged for Beyond Oasis, so you'll need that game to play the mod.
You can use the passwords provided to cheat your way past as much of the game as you want.
But if I were you? I wouldn't bother. You'll miss most of the story that way, and that's the dessert of an adventure game.
The meat and bones is mostly running through mazes and getting items or triggering switches
The story's not half bad despite the major deviations from the original plot, and the end is intense, also pretty touching.
Still not as awesome as the original film I'm sure... I'm willing to bet if you've never seen it it won't matter.
Not for children: lots of death and blood especially toward the end. Violent scenes and themes.
Rated Teen if you ask me.
Overall, you can consider it the "movie version of the book" sort of deal, with mediocre gameplay and a decent story.

Gameplay video by Missile Lawnchair.

This version is patched with an awesome fan translation: the English translation (c)2009 Eien Ni Hen, the code (c) 2011 by KingMike.
Good job dudes! Practically engrish free!

Original animation and game copyright (c) 1989 NHK/ SOGO VISION/TOHO (C) 1991 NAMCO LTD.
The teams did a great job of production on a work that inspired this game!

Any of the mentioned sources above that ask me to remove their part of the game and/or descriptive materials, I will try to comply.

Additional note: This is not the Sharp X68000/PC-98/FM Towns version of the game, nor is it the TurboGrafx version.
It is also not the NES version of the game. Go somewhere else for those.

Just finished the anime like ten days ago. Absolutely crazy coincidence that you both uploaded this and I found it when we did.
