Look at life from a different angle

It is my first item in steam workshop, yay!...The idea was to replace standart demoman's eye-patch with this item like some items in workshop replacing scout's boots, demo's grenades and etc. When I finished the model, I decided to drink a cup of coffee and made a quick in-game test without any materials. And of course I faced with problem: there is no way to replace demoman's eye-patch :D And after one or two weeks I decided to finish this item, so I learned how to do uv unwrap, spent about 2 days, and here it is...
I hope guys from valve will add an ability to hide such standart items like eye-patch, sniper's glasses, medic's glasses, etc. Maybe later I'll do a better version of this item, but not really soon..Also looking for good tutorials about working with materials, especially glossy materials and applying paint. thx to all people, who helped me :]
