The Zone: Call of Pripyat - Re-Release

The Chernobyl NPP melts down, and creates the biggest nuclear power disaster in history. The area surrounding the disaster area, herefore referenced as "The Zone" is created after the immediate threat has gone. Mutations begin appearing in the local wildlife. The military takes interest in the area and begins investigating, sending scientists to take reports. In 2006, the C-Conciousness or Common Conciousness is created, and attempts to fix mankind's war issues. This fails and affects The Zone, creating mutants, anomalies and other events begin forming within The Zone. Artifacts are formed, which are normal items transformed by radiation and other elements, which contain supernatural effects such as weightlesnes, protection from elements, and of course emit radiation.

The C-Conciousness also builds up massive amounts of energy, which it releases in bursts known as "Emissions" or "Blowouts." These affect the weather within The Zone and cause anyone caught outside of cover such as a house, to be immediately heavily wounded, and lose their minds, creating "zombies". Most Stalkers, after the first blowout, were wary of this and rarely did anyone lose their lives to these unless very far from cover.

Unfortunately, in late 201X, a huge emission burst out. Not even those seeking shelter survived. The mutated creatures ran or died off, artifacts became increasingly rare, and nearly every Stalker except those in very deep shelter became zombified due to this emission. Stalkers now rarely leave their deep cover, and trust eachother even less, the only life other than the mutated wildlife, being zombified remains of previous Stalkers roaming The Zone.

As of 5/5/19 - Mod suggestions here! All of these have built in functionality for the item spawns that I've put around (for the most part, I still have to edit them all and need someone to help build a couple custom tables!)

I'll be working on adding custom mod support in the future when I find someone who can help with spawn tables. Not all spawns are perfect keep in mind!


This map is PVP / RP focused for the moment as I'm looking for someone who can create zombies and item spawns for me.

Work will continue on this mod as always. It's been a long time coming to this update, but I had to redo countless amount of work after the last update had broken the map, and I lost the Gas Station, Antenna Complex, Swamp and some other stuff. Now it's all been redone, a lot of terrain has been redone, terrain materials have been redone to be more accurate.







Spy's no longer required!



Areas fleshed out include pretty much everything, I still have some terrain making to do around the "border" area of the map, and the skybox areas. I am also STILL looking for someone who can do item spawns and zombie creation, possibly paid depending on your previous workings. I'm good at details and mapping, not spawns and whatnot. DO NOT FRIEND ME FOR THIS. Please leave a comment in the "Applications" section. You must have done serious work in the past, not just that you "want to help."
