Description
I do not own any of this! I took pictures of the board and cards I bought and added bonus characters and bosses utilizing other people's assets along with figurines already uploaded here on Tabletop.

I worked really hard to get this put together so that my husband and I could play with my brother who we currently live far away from. I hope all of you get as much fun and enjoyment out of this as we do on our game nights. We sometimes add a "CPU" player and have them controlled by the random chance of dice rolls, which I highly recommend for smaller groups to make things more interesting.

Rule book included!

UPDATE 12/08/2023

Hello there, everyone!
It's been about 5 years since my original upload of this game to Workshop and it's still our go-to game for Game Night!

I got married to the man I was dating when I first uploaded this and my now husband and I moved back to the area we grew up so we're able to play the game in person with my brother now, but keeping it up to date on Tabletop is still something I like to do. That way, if things are too hectic to meet up in person, we can still hop on Steam and play together!

To keep things interesting after all these years, my husband and I added some new elements to the game! We added Items with an optional Item space and Item Shop as well as Miracles tied to an optional Miracle space!
The Item Block replaces the Coin Block space. The Item Shop overrides the first Thwomp and the Miracle space overrides the second Thwomp space.
The Item Shop is triggered even just by passing it like in Mario Party, landing on it has no additional effects. The Item Shop draws three items from the pile and you can purchase any one (provided you have enough coins!). Coin value is noted on the bottom of each item. Shine Sprites are an item, but don't contribute to your inventory limit of 2.
You can only use an item on your own turn (except Golden Mushrooms since they activate whenever your next boss roll would be and that could be on anyone's turn).

We also added Shy Guy and Waluigi as new characters and a couple new bosses we found online (I even tried my hand at making my own custom boss: King Boo (Luigi's Mansion version)!

Lastly, the thing we focused the most on, was changing or buffing most of the existing character's abilities to make them more interesting and more in line with the character's themselves.
Peach has much more luck involved with her character, Wario focuses on money, Waluigi is very tricky, Mario is the hero and is focused on taking down bosses, Tanooki Mario is a more defensive character and so on. In particular, Mario can get two chances in a row to fight a boss if he triggers it after he gets his star ability because he gets to fight the boss first regardless of who triggered it and then it passes to the player who would naturally have gone first - which could be him!

There are so many new ways to play with just a few updates here and there and we find it has fixed a lot of the things we felt the game was lacking as well as bringing it closer to what we really wanted the game to be - more of a board game version of Mario Party.
In the vanilla version, property was purchased and bosses defeated without much else happening and nothing really changing hands too often - it could be very easy to predict who was going to win even early on in the game. Now property can be traded or stolen in many different ways, even bosses can too, and coins fly around like crazy or get hoarded. The addition of Items and Miracles keeps the chaos flowing in a fun and interesting way. We made sure nothing felt like it was too overpowered and that, while luck seems to rule the game, strategy can be a huge factor as well!

I recommend pitting Fire Mario against Wario! It's a very interesting match up.

It has been so much fun to work on this project and I really hope everyone enjoys the changes we made or even just continues to enjoy the vanilla game! As for us, we have three children now and one of them is starting to play board games with us (the middle child is still content to suck on the dice and occasionally roll them...), so I can say for sure we will continue to hold this game as a huge part of our family time for another 5 years and even more to come!

this is the exact reason i think we have enjoyed Table Top Simulator so much, as we can play easily with family that live across the globe and still create those family game night memories.
Great Job! :violettOK:

Thank you! I actually uploaded this specifically because my husband and I live far away from my younger brother and this is a game that we always played together that I actually have a physical copy of. I don't have those other games you mentioned, so unfortunately I won't be adding them.
Thank you for your interest, though!
