Description
EvorA is a COOP CTI game mode derived from the “Evolution Red” type missions in ArmA 2. While this mission can be played in single player or from a local host, it is recommended to host EvorA from a dedicated server. The mission is incredibly optimized for both clients and servers, allowing most players to have an above-average performance.

The objective of the mission is to clear a number of heavily guarded objectives in sequence. A radio tower is also present in each objective which must be destroyed to stop enemy reinforcements. Enemies become harder the further in the mission, so solid teamwork may be required to complete to complete the mission.

Neutralizing enemies, destroying radio towers, and clearing objectives rewards score. This score can be used to unlock better equipment, purchase vehicles, and recruit AI. While you start off with only a few bases, you can build more using a special vehicle. You may also get the opportunity to capture airfields that allow you to deploy fixed-wing assets.

Custom systems, unique to EvorA, allow you to edit the loadout of any aircraft configured for it, and gives active protection systems to certain armored vehicles.

Finishing or restarting the mission resets your progress. However, each session plays differently due to thorough randomization. There is no grinding, no leaderboards, and no databases in EvorA.

Still hoping we get more EVORA maps... I wish I knew how to do it myself.

I flew around during a reinforcement wave and the truck respawned again, but nobody was on the gun. Arma being arma, it just be like that with this game sometimes lol.

@munchiesnOOb I'll look into the respawning vehicle thing. I've never experienced a bug like that myself. The reason for AA respawning is that otherwise air would have free reign the moment the 4 static AA vehicles are gone. Air being so powerful would then suck the fun away for any ground forces.

hello?

Also, that really makes doing CAS and heli inserts extremely difficult if the AA all respawns. I could understand an incoming reinforcement group having SPAA with it, but it's really gonna suck busting my ass clearing the AA without getting shot down, just to have it respawn and shoot me down out of nowhere.

No, something's not working. When I say respawn I mean I blow it up with a tank, wait a moment, and it reappers with no crew. Blow it up again, same thing, keeps happening until I clear all the infantry and destroy the tower.

I must have accidentally gone to turn gear saving on and hit a key twice or something because gear is once again saving just fine for me.

@Fat Retard Yes, mobile AA-type enemy vehicles can now respawn in an objective reinforcement. Non-unlocked gear saving works fine for me if I set "EVOR_param_EnableSaveAllGear=1" in the server config file or adjust its default value in "CfgParams.hpp"
