Moin folks ! [a.iO]

These roads here provide the possibility to sink your tram track in the middle of the road.
This is an old upload ... it can still be used as described in the guide, but you´re also able to do it in a more convenient way with the help of NC and Network Multitool.

Here is (the old) a short guide in which I tried to explain how the road has to be build.

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1724870323

  • now with Adaptive Network Mod (by Kian Zarrin) support
  • Props can be deactivated
  • Vanilla Tracks on the LRT Segments
  • LRT tracks on Vanilla Segments
  • this road will still work without AN !

new thumbs !

[the images below show the old thumbs etc.]

This set consists of (almost) 7 different road types.

Sometimes it is not possible to choose a specific flag within the road editor to achieve the
solution which you want... Thats the case with this "problem".
The segments´ node is designed to close a hole within the roads when the LRT tracks are
connected to other tracks (on roads) or when a crossing/transition is build. The hole appears,
because the LRT track railbed is further (-60cm) sunken than the "roadbed" (road surface level, -30cm).

This is totally ok, but these specific node will also appear at the segment´s end when it will
be connected to the nodeless segment. (shown in picture 1)

My walkarround for that problem was to choose the need for a traffic light to trigger the node, which
will close the hole/gap at the junction/transition (where it is needed). That way it will prevent the same
node from appearing at the connection between the main segment and the nodeless segment.

The downside of that solution is shown in the second picture. If there is no
traffic light, then there is no Node. :/
If you want to connect the road to a small road you have to activate traffic lights to trigger the node.

As always ;)

Loading Screen Mod - created by thale5, fixed and updated by Klyte45 and
now maintained and improved by algernon.

  • almost all (currently) available road networks use the same texture set

I´ll add them when they are back ... ;)

If you like this addition to the workshop... and you want more,
you could give it a thumbs up. :) That would be very much appreciated !!! :)

These roads are just great, but when I place a station on them, people don’t use it and don’t even ride the trams.

Tried adding a tram system to my city, and the No Node roads broke the nodes on the map completely! Had to replace these roads with vanilla, redo all my lines, replace/reconnect every adjoining tram road, and now my city is collapsing because my services won't send out vehicles to those tram roads I made using these assets >:(

I feel myself a bit blind and stupid. Just found all 7 roads. Thanks for the reply.

Hi. Yep, that's correct... you won't find them there, because those nets don't contain "tram lanes". Best way to find them would be via "find it". Atm Idk where exactly I put them in ... but I think that there has to be a "pipes" tab within the "roads" menu, where you should find all nets together.

Hi. It's strange, but only vanilla & LRT with or without node appears in the tram track menu. Can't find segments with grass & hole segment.

Hi. The network comes without any decorations.
jakan1604 11 apr, 2023 @ 13:03
are the station decorations like the fences and shelters part of the asset or done in post?

Destroy , have you any idea how much time and effort these guys and gals put into making and maintaining these items/mods for us to use , for free i might add, suggest you drop the condescending tone ask the author/ maker politely,(like your mother taught you to), if theres anything that can be done, after maybe raising awareness on an issue and stop being a complete TWAT...
