30 Years after the fall of communism, the Republic of Albania still suffers from massive poverty, crime, and corruption. Fed up with their terrible way of living, the Albanian people have now completely lost their faith in the government to solve this matter and are now starting to leave their country en masse, in hopes of finding a better life. On the other side, the opposition, having now left the parliament, are boycotting the elections and leading country-wide protests, which are gaining popularity by the day. With political turmoil in the rise and an ever growing economic uncertainity, the future for the Balkan country looks dark.
