You're right, took about 5 mins or so to connect, and I enter in my code. Good to know about this.

Yeah it finally connected after awhile and then I could put in the code.

You left it running for 30 mins and finally connected? I guess I give that a try later on.

It looks like it works after all but you might have to wait up to 30 minutes for it to login to GFWL before you can put in the key for the first time.

Yeah that's it unfortunately... I can't even use it single-player... Oh well lots of other fish in the sea^^

Thanks for trying to help me out though! I think I'll give Ghost Recon Future Soldier a try in lieu of Operation Flashpoint: Red River.

I can't actually not sign in because when I turn the game on, it tries to sign in and when I try to make the GFWL go away by clicking the x, it freezes so that I can't do anything with my computer. When that happens, I can't even use the task manager properly since the now frozen game takes my screen and won't give it back. The only way to get control of my screen back is to press ctrl alt delete and then log out which closes all running programs including Red River.

So what you do is this. Don't sign in, cancel it, go into the game without signing in, now open the xbox dash, click create new profile, don't click next, scroll down, and click credit a local profile, put whatever name you want, click done, and that's it, when you launch the game again, it ask you to sign in for your local profile, click cancel, and just play your game.
