Description
''You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?! It’s the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs!'' -Han Solo

''What a piece of Junk!'' -Luke Skywalker

''She'll make point five past lightspeed. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself.'' -Han Solo

“You know, that ship’s saved my life quite a few times. She’s the fastest hunk o’ junk in the galaxy!” -Lando Calrissian

Description:

A ship that needs no introduction, the Millennium Falcon is the vessel that aided in the destruction of both Death Stars, as well as restoring peace and freedom to the galaxy with the defeat of the evil Galactic Empire. With a modified point five hyperdrive, and maneuverability on par with most top of the range starfighters, makes it the perfect choice for any smuggler, journeyman or adventurer alike.

Author's Summary:

I began construction of this ship back in 2015 when Space Engineers was barely into its early access development phase. It took roughly two weeks to get the construction of the exterior and interior in place. However for the longest of time there was a bug present in the game that caused pistons to explode at random, after months of attempting to find a fix or workaround with no success, I stopped playing Space Engineers due to disappointment. Now years later Space Engineers exited early access and is officially released, I decided to give the game another go and found that the piston issue is no more!

I continued work on the Falcon and added an arrange of updates to it both in functionality and design. This is in part thanks to the very talented modders and their work included, without which this construction simply would not be.

I have stress tested the Falcon and it seems everything works just fine, with no exploding pistons or a severe slow down in performance. You may however notice some sparks coming from the landing gear every now and then, as well as a banging sound when slowing down, but hey, it wouldn't be an authentic Millennium Falcon experience without some glitches here and there.

I built this ship for use in creative mode (which is the game mode I usually stick to, and should be applied to all of my future creations), so don't expect this to work well in survival.

Stay tuned for more constructions by ''Omegastar Engineering'' (OSE)!
